This Country Farmhouse in Clarksville, MD has a new kitchen bump out and complete remodel, with a French Country Style. This homeowner wanted to lighten up their family’s center with a beautiful kitchen remodel. The new white cabinets and lighter granite tops offers light reflective qualities and the new Andersen windows that cover the entire rear wall of the kitchen allows for more light.
Our Production Supervisor was a pleasure to work with and were very comfortable with him. Francoise A.
By opening the wall that separated the kitchen from the family room we gave this heart of the home an open and airy feel allowing for better traffic flow and fellowship. The walls were painted the same color in both living spaces, Sherwin Williams Toque White lending continuity and brightness.
The dark Italian Stoneware floor in varying tile sizes from 6″x6″ to 18″ x 18″ add a richness to the otherwise lighter colors of the cabinetry and tops and transitions well with the stained wood floors in the family room. With a love for cooking French cuisine the family purchased the best appliances, Kitchen Aid, Wolf and Subzero to name a few.
The exhaust hood was very important, as they did not desire to obstruct the view from the kitchen to the family room. The Modern Aire PS 16 commercial exhaust fan does just that with an application that keeps the hood close to the ceiling and vents through the roof.
The wonderful charm and warmth of this French Country Kitchen is why it is an award winning project.
