This project started as a large kitchen renovation, but ended in being a partial first floor renovation to truly meet the homeowner’s requirements. The removal of the 2 story fireplace created great traffic flow for busy owners and for entertaining guests.
The newly installed hardwood floors and stairs, as well as, the reorganized laundry room and updated kitchen offered a beautiful and efficient new living space. The challenge of having a recovering patient from knee surgery on the same level, while modifying the floor surfaces and stairs and while removing the kitchen was met in a successful way. The end result – a very happy family who are enjoying their newly remodeled space.
