Due to the style of the house, a center hall colonial, the focus was placed on expanding the rear and side of the home to create a more grand space that would compliment the existing areas. Since the house had simple traditional elements, the solution was to create good circulation and some architectural elements to compliment the spaces. Additionally, the homeowner wished to enhance their curb appeal by creating a side entrance that offered a warm inviting welcome. Lastly, the remodel required updated spaces to include a kitchen, a family room, a master suite and reconfiguration of the existing home, but with a high emphasis on melding and blending of the existing with the new. We believe in the end this home has curb appeal and good clean lines.
