Two-Story Home Addition

Do you love your neighborhood, but have fallen out of love with your house?

So did this Pikesville family. Owings Brothers Contracting has the solution to your problem.  Let us design a two-story home addition for your family and fall in love with your house all over again!

The homeowner’s growing family needed to expand their living space upward and outward. The ordinary track home was in the perfect neighborhood and moving was out of the question. They called Owings Brothers Contracting to transform their small 1959 rancher to give it curb appeal and redesign it to offer a two-story home addition on the rear and a single story addition on the front. This expanded the family’s living space by adding a larger contemporary kitchen with breakfast area and a walk-in pantry.  The grandparents live out of town and visit regularly, so there was a need for several more bedrooms and baths.  We addressed the problem with a two-story rear addition adding plenty of room for the family’s guests to feel welcome and to enjoy their privacy in an active household.  The homeowner decided to install a  home elevator for the grandmother who is wheelchair bound and this allows for her to be involved in all the family activities on each floor.
