This couple wanted to remain in their present home and neighborhood, but needed to update the flow of the home. Their children were growing older and having their friends over often and they desired to entertain more, so they wanted a home that would be conducive to socializing. The 1995 home had various rooms on the first floor, but each were closed off except for a doorway. The open floor plan they now have was just what was needed to fit their family lifestyle. This new floor plan also offered the ability for guests to mill around and enjoy conversation with the host as they prepared meals, as well as, enjoy the beauty of the back yard from the many new windows, the sun room and screened porch that were added. These changes afforded an outdoor living experience that previously was facilitated by a simple deck.
