Gibson Island Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation

Kitchen and Bathroom Renovation

This kitchen and bathroom renovation was a part of a larger remodel to this waterfront home.  The bump out for the kitchen offered additional space for dining and the new entrance made for great access from the driveway.

The 1920’s house received a much needed update and makeover to improve overall efficiency of systems and appearance. Products were carefully selected to maximize value and still maintain visual impact.

The homeowner desired an updated kitchen and bathroom to allow for ease of entertaining and additional cabinet and counter space.  The architect designed a wall of glass to allow for much natural light, which also affords a dynamic view of the outdoors.  Engineered stone counter tops, beautiful tile focal point back splash and unique kitchen island design offer a clean and simple coastal feel to this family’s second home.

The hall bathroom was the standard tub/shower combination and was dark and unremarkable.  The addition of a larger walk-in shower with glass doors affords natural light from the window and brightens the space.  To enhance the coastal feel of this waterfront home a new green vanity and blue/green shower focal point was chosen.
