Art Deco Style Finishes
The client’s master bath remodel had a fairly ambitious timeline and budget considering the size and space and level of finishes in the balance of their custom home. Our design team spent many hours working on the many intricate details to make this space meet the client’s vision and keep within the architecture of the existing house. It was important that they choose selections and design that bring warmth into what is a very large 23′ x 18′ bathroom. The end result is a fabulous and luxurious master bath retreat.
The Bellmont wood cabinetry in Alder Sand Dune casts a warm tone to this home spa retreat and Borghini Arabescato quartz countertops add a resilient, light-reflective surface. The homeowner desired a neutral palette with natural materials and to bring it all together the floor was created in Arona Bianco Natural ceramic tile. Art Deco style gives this master bath remodel a luxurious look and feel and adding to the elegance Pattern Scallop Shell tile was installed on one wall in the walk-in shower and on the tub deck surrounding the Elegancia air jet soaking tub. This beautiful tile is iridescent and changes color, just a tad, as natural light shines into the room. Also chosen for the shower wall and in the niche is 12″x24″ Visionary Gloss tile bringing contrast and interest to this space and to finish this lavish look a beautiful basket weave ceramic tile on the shower floor in Cloud Nine and Paper White was selected. Breathtaking!
Bathroom Accessories
As we know accessories complete the look of a well-dressed woman and you won’t be disappointed in this master bath remodel. Our homeowner chose gold-tone lighting fixtures by Feiss, sconces at the vanities and a beautiful semi-flush fixture to match on the ceiling and faucets by Margaux in Vibrant Brushed Bronze for that extra bling. Another accessory that brings this large space together in an extravagant and functional way is the Jaipur viscose & silk area rug adding a warm look and literal feel to the tile flooring. Lastly for fun, the Vanguard Tootsie Shaggy Chic stools offer a place to rest while filling the soaking tub or slipping off your shoes. This master bath remodel is an elegant spa retreat for the owners of this custom home and when entering you feel an automatic sense of calm and peace, the perfect place to wash away the stresses of the day.
