Baltimore City Home Renovation

Homeland, Maryland Remodel

This homeowner was downsizing and also merging another family household into one dwelling, this can create challenging design needs.  Additionally, the homeowner did not want to add additional square footage to the existing home.  The solution was quite simple, create a sorority house.  The grandmother takes the main floor, due to her wisdom and seniority, mom takes the lower level suite, with the hope of some sunlight and the youngest of the three generations takes the second floor, having the benefit of two bedrooms and a full bath.   This is your basic three story gut and redo, from top to bottom, but maintaining the houses’ original curb appeal.
