On this project, the client’s wanted a clean, easy to maintain space. The most dramatic change was the flipping of the kitchen from the rear of the house to the front. The large picture window in the kitchen lends itself to plenty of natural light and in the evenings the whole space is illuminated by the 4″ LED recessed lighting. The choice of the decorative Murray Feiss pendants at the island adds a mid-century vibe.
Glass hex tile backsplash keeps with the clean, transitional feel adding soft color. We kept in the budget with the moderately priced granite that reflects light and offers a large food prep space. Lastly, natural white oak floors throughout keep the flow and open airy feeling.
Lastly, the garage was made clean and efficient with the Owings Closet and Storage system. A place for everything and everything in its place. This two car garage is easy to maintain and offers the homeowner a light-filled space for storage and small workbench.
