Kitchen, Family Room and Dining Room Remodel

Our clients desired to remodel their home’s kitchen, incorporating the dining room and family room into a single space. They wanted a completely new look, modernized with top-of-the-line appliances for the husband, who is the chief cook in the house. The home, built in 2005, is nestled in a highly sought-after neighborhood and needed an update reflective of the contemporary style of the present day. Our company offered a Design-Build approach, which enabled the homeowners to utilize our design services and selection center, as well as our over four decades of remodeling experience.

Several of the changes made involved reshaping the space and adding more natural light by installing windows. The formal dining room was rarely used, and the client wished to utilize the space for daily dining by incorporating the square footage with the kitchen. This allowed guests and family to sit either in the dining area or the family room to gather while the chef created culinary delights.

Bright and Expansive Kitchen

When designing the kitchen, it was essential to the client to have a large island for both easy meal preparation and serving.  The island also serves as a seating area, allowing guests and family to enjoy conversation while the chef prepares the meals.  Everything needed to be organized with a place for everything and everything in its place.  New Bridgewood cabinetry was chosen, and with the expansion, many more cabinets were added.  The kitchen has a clean and tidy look, yet with the vibrant flooring from Happy Floors Sierra Boulder, it adds a lot of texture and color.

Appliances needed to be the best of the best, so a Wolf range and oven were selected, along with a Sub-Zero refrigerator.  Counters needed to be attractive, sturdy, and no-nonsense, so that all meal prep would be easy and cleanup would be a breeze. Caesarstone was the perfect choice in Rugged Concrete.  Our homeowners chose a custom exhaust hood to create further interest in their kitchen remodel.  Lastly, new lighting was added for both function and aesthetic appeal.  All in all, the modernization of the kitchen, family, and dining room was completed, and our clients love it!
